    The Salomon X3 10 CS Men's Ski Boots. The construction of the World Cup model built with a more comfortable last shape and the latest Salomon fit technology - Custom Shell.

    System: World Cup Advanced Shell Technology & Custom Shell This is a declination of the development in World Cup Boot design. This is a powerful version of the Advanced Shell technology with improvement on the back support, the body positioning into the boot and the torsion control of the boot (ration between tolerance and transmission). This kind of construction is designed to transfer the maximum of power from the skier to the ski. Inspired by racing, this custom shell is about performance. Racers today needs to drive precisely their skis, they need to feel the ski as Precision is as important as power! Metas are key for precision, so if the shell is too wide you lose precision, if the shell is too narrow, it is painful so you can't feel the terrain. You need to have the shell at your exact foot shape: You need to have the boot mold to your foot shape. This is exactly what Custom Shell will do to your boot. Developed from a specific plastic material, Kaprolene, this allows the moulding of the boot around the foot. For the skier this means a top performance boot without foot pains.

    Adjustment: Double Dismantable Canting & Backbone Canting enables cuff alignment to the skier's lower leg shape. This dismantable feature offers better adaption and allows boot fitters to work easily on the cuff. Magnesium piece linking the upper cuff to the lower shell providing back support for better rebound coming out of the turn (rebound effects) & enabling a progressive but powerful forward flex.
