We have now been servicing skis and snowboards in Ipswich, Suffolk for over 28 years and have a wealth of knowledge when it comes to fixing your ride. Be it a simple wax and edge or reattaching an edge after a jibbing session that turned bad, bring your skis or snowboard to SnowSun Adrenaline Sports, Suffolk's premier ski and snowboard shop.

Every tune is done using state of the art Wintersteiger precision machinery and every ski and/or snowboard are waxed and conditioned by hand to give the precise and personal tune that you require from your equipment.

Our services are:
Edge only - Edges sharpened, de-burred and tip and tail detuned £7.50
Wax only - base cleaned and hot waxed. £12.50
Base grind - the base is ground taking the smallest amount of base material off to clean and flatten the base. £12.50

Wax and edge - Skis or board are cleaned and inspected for any damage on the base. Edges are then sharpened and the tip and tail are detuned. The base is then dried and cleaned. Wax is applied, scraped and polished to a fine finish to allow you to glide down the hill with ease.
Skis £17.50 Snowboard £20.00

Wax, edge and base grind - Skis or board are cleaned and inspected for any damage on the base. Edges are then sharpened; the base ground, and the tip and tail are detuned. The base is then dried and cleaned. Wax is applied, scraped and polished to a fine finish to allow you to glide down the hill with ease.
Skis £22.50 Snowboard £25.00

Wax, edge, base grind and base structure - same as above but before the wax is applied the skis or board are run over a structure stone. This stone can be cut to any structure formation that you require that will give your skis or board greater wax absorption and a faster base allowing you to beat your mates down to the bar. If you have a new pair of skis or snowboard you can see this structure that the factory has cut in to the base, we can replicate it!

Binding mount for skis - bindings are set to the skier's height, weight, boot size and skiing ability. £25.00

Repairs - repairs vary in each case.

P-tex - injected molten base material (P-tex) that fills any hole that a rock may have left when shredding out on the hill.
P-tex starting from £3.00

Patch - depending on the damage to the base of the ski or board depends if it can be P-tex or patched. Normally if the damage is large and close to the edge P-tex can be ripped out easily and it is recommended to have a patch inserted to allow for a stronger and far more secure repair. Each patch depends on how big the damage is so feel free to bring your board or skis in for a quote.

Edge repair - if your edge is hanging out of your prized board or skis after hitting a box wrong or a nasty cliff got a hold of the edge and ripped it out fear not! We can repair it! Provide us a clear photo or bring in the damaged item in and we can let you know how what can be done and the all important how much it will cost!
Edge repair starting from £20.00
